jokowipe.id is a Database Backup platform that lets you automate, monitor, and manage database backups — with Gzip + AES-256 encryption and flexible storage options.

What is jokowipe.id?

jokowipe.id makes database backup simple:

• Automated Backups — Schedule backups on any interval (every 15 min on Pro, every 1 hr on Starter, every 3 hrs on Free).
• Encrypted at rest — Every backup is Gzip-compressed and AES-256 encrypted before it leaves your server.
• Flexible Storage — Store backups on jokowipe-managed storage, or bring your own bucket: S3, GCS, Cloudflare R2, Azure Blob, MinIO.
• Lightweight Agent — A single binary runs on your server, executes backup jobs locally, and securely streams results to the dashboard.
• Live Console — Watch backup logs stream in real time via WebSocket from any browser.
• Notifications — Get alerted on success or failure via Telegram, webhook, or Healthchecks.io.

Core Components

Local Agent

A lightweight binary that runs on your database server:

• Executes backup jobs (pg_dump, mysqldump)
• Compresses and encrypts backup files
• Uploads to jokowipe managed storage or your own bucket (BYOC)
• Streams live logs and status to the dashboard via WebSocket

Backend API

The Go-based REST API is the control plane:

• Backup scheduling and job dispatch
• Agent registration and token authentication
• Storage target management (managed + BYOC)
• Plan enforcement and usage tracking
• Notification dispatch (Telegram, webhook, Healthchecks.io)

Web Dashboard

The React dashboard gives you a visual interface for:

• Creating and managing backup jobs
• Viewing backup history and logs in real time
• Configuring storage targets
• Monitoring agents
• Managing notification channels
